IT Security Manager/Architect

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Security Manager/Architect. The IT Security Manager/Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing security policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing security strategies, managing security programs, and leading a team of security professionals. The IT Security Manager/Architect will work closely with other IT teams, business units, and stakeholders to ensure that security risks are identified, assessed, and addressed in a timely and effective manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT security strategy, policies, and procedures to safeguard the organization’s information assets
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify security vulnerabilities and threats
  • Design and implement security solutions that align with business objectives and comply with regulatory requirements
  • Manage security programs such as access control, encryption, network security, endpoint protection, and incident response
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and HIPAA
  • Lead a team of security professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure the team’s success
  • Collaborate with other IT teams, business units, and stakeholders to ensure that security risks are identified and addressed
  • Provide security training and awareness to employees and contractors
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of security controls and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT security management or architecture
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS
  • Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanners
  • Experience with security incident response and forensics
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and architecture
  • Experience with cloud security and security in DevOps environments
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or SANS GIAC
